Ronald Bridges, Home of the Union City Eagles, was transformed into a full Cinco de Mayo party as the Eagles cruised to a 13-2 victory over the shorthanded Panhandle Reds.
The Eagles controlled the game from the first pitch as the game was started late due to field maintenance.
After a few wins in a row, Coach Jones was upbeat about his team. “This was a total team effort. We are hard to beat when we play focused and loose like this…this was a good win.”
Ronald Bridges celebrated Cinco de Mayo by providing food, concession, and music. Both teams participated in the post-game festivities and seemed to leave the competition on the field.
